July<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What does the Somatic Choir focus on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The focus is on choir singing\/collective singing in a holistic form: the conscious experience of voice in one&#8217;s own body, in space, with other voices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>intensive warm-ups of body and voice<\/li>\n<li>Improvisation, sound experiments, elements from circle singing, games<\/li>\n<li>Learning songs by ear<\/li>\n<li>Development of polyphonic songs and canons (international folk, pop, swing, chanson)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All levels are welcome. Knowledge of music notation is useful, but not a requirement.
