Part 1: Somatic Foundation Year in German or English The Somatic Foundation Year places emphasis on the individual process and the development of experiential knowledge // 1 year, 6 modules, 5 days per module. Perception-oriented learning in somatic methods enables a conscious engagement with one's own body and the resulting relatedness with others. This part is dedicated to immediate experience, freed from the pressure of having to apply already, and forms an important foundation for one's own, especially physical integration of somatic content. It consists of 10 modules (each Mon-Fri), which are distributed over a period of 1.5 years. In the modules, the somatic methods from Part 1 are deepened through didactic knowledge and philosophical theory embedding. In going through the developmental process again, this is analyzed through the perspective of various somatic methods and made comprehensible and actionable through the ongoing process of one's own embodiment. Part 2 ends with a final examination that includes practical and theoretical components. Completing Part 2 certifies for teaching application. Prerequisite for participation in Part 2 is Part 1.

Deepening Reflection of content Reflection of methodology Teaching experience, design and composition Early childhood movement development and personality development in relation to birth and death, primal trust, surrender, sexuality, love Body systems: Embryology - sexual organs Module 10 Embodiment This module serves to integrate all previous content and is devoted to the question of how the learned material wants to embody or take shape in one's further personal and/or professional path. Based on the individual process documentation of the previous 9 modules, this module provides a framework for individually sovereign continuation and authorship of the content in future professional practice. Constructive-critical self-reflection and self-assessment is strengthened. The most important aspects of responsibility and ethics of the somatics practitioner are touched upon. Upon fulfilling all admission requirements (attendance & teaching samples), the final module leads to certification of the ability to teach the training content to individuals and groups. We recommend an additional Somatic Specialization: The Somatic Specialization involves the individual specialization of the somatic practitioner. There are 4 different options to choose from: Participants can select a 200-hour, self-contained specialization from the program of the Somatic Academy Berlin (SAB). Participants can put together an individual program from various offerings of the SAB until 200 hours are reached. Participants can choose a specialization that is not directly carried out by the SAB but is in collaboration with it. The ISMETA 500 certification "Registered Somatic Movement Educator (RSME)" qualifies for working with groups as a Somatic Movement Educator.
